I started writing a long time ago but only formalized my work in Substack about a year ago. It's made me much better in this skill as I've pushed on essay per week and it's stretched my mind as I look for counter-intuitive insights to share.
I also started, and am nearing completion of a novel. What writing has taught me is so much more respect for those who write. It's not just putting ideas down. It's learning, unlearning, and relearning as you write ideas down.
